Methods to report to FINTRAC
Businesses that have an Internet connection must submit the following reports electronically :
- Suspicious Transaction Reports
- Large Cash Transaction Reports
- Large Virtual Currency Transaction Reports
- Electronic Funds Transfer Reports
- Casino Disbursement Reports
However, Terrorist Property Reports must be submitted with the form.
Systems maintenance schedule
FINTRAC's reporting systems are affected by weekly system maintenance from 8:00 P.M. Saturday to 12:00 P.M. Sunday, Eastern time.
Electronic reporting options

FINTRAC Web reporting
Allows you to manually submit all types of reports, manage the location and contact information included on reports, delegate a service provider.
Allows you to submit all types of reports except Large Virtual Currency Transaction Reports in batches.
Allows you to submit Large Virtual Currency Transaction Reports. You can either manually upload and submit a JSON-LD file or cut and paste the JSON-LD file contents. Alternatively, you can automate this process by having an application upload and submit JSON-LD files to the Upload page.
Service provider arrangements
You may enter into an agreement with a service provider to have them submit and correct reports to FINTRAC on your behalf.
Alternatives to large cash transaction reporting
Applicable to financial entities only.
The forms show the information that is submitted to FINTRAC for each type of report. Reporting entities must submit all reports electronically if they have an Internet connexion, except Terrorist Property Reports.
